Candy Review: Allie’s Edibles Gourmet Crispy Rice

These treats make me selfish. I shared them with my roommates because I wanted their opinions for the review, but make no mistake, I resented it.

I open one of the packages of Allie’s Edibles Gourmet Crispy Rice treats and I’m overcome with the sweet smell of nostalgia wafted to my nose. It’s surprising how many of my childhood memories involve delicious foods (rubs belly and whispers “memories”). Rice crispy treats were and still are one of my favorites. We even grew up calling them “Rice Crispy Candy”. Adventurous as always, my Mom had coined a new name for them. It was only later as an adult that I realized this was not their proper name – to my embarrassment.

Hershey’s Wants To Share the Love With You (aka Hershey’s Candy Giveaway!)

The school began 100 years ago as a dream and vision shared by Milton Hershey and his wife Kitty. Unable to have children of their own, they took their wealth and created a home and school for orphaned boys in 1909. After his wife died, Milton Hershey gave his entire fortune to the School. Mr. Hershey has been quoted as having said, “The School was Kitty’s idea. If we had helped a hundred children it would have all been worthwhile.” One hundred years later, Milton and Kitty Hershey’s legacy lives on and has educated thousands of students. Tic Tac’s Small Fun Revolution Campaign

So many times Canadians are excluded from candy giveaways and contests, but not this time!

Tic Tac Canada has launched their “Small Fun Revolution” campaign. They are encouraging Canadian Tic Tac candy fans to submit their own small fun creation for a chance at 24 hours of small fun with $5000!

How to Enter:
Create a video or photo of something made out of Tic Tacs or Tic Tac boxes and submit it at tictacsmallfun.ca for a chance to win the grand prize, 24 hours of small fun with $5000. Creations will be judged on originality, creativity, and of course, overall fun-ness. Also, the first 1000 entries get a free t-shirt from Tic Tac. For more information, visit tictacsmallfun.ca.
