How could we not? Thanks to a little help from the Candy Addict staff, we are now able to offer the women of the world equal opportunity indulging. Because we’re more sensitive, some of our flavors might be a little more abstract than their manly jelly bean counterparts but, hey, that’s what works for us.
Hmmm, I like this one not as much. Cute, but it seems to imply that girls can’t/don’t eat.
Which is not true. Duh. Sugar-free candy sucks.
I dunno, maybe the guys were offended by the guy one. I liked some of them, but some like “lemon water” and “fat free chocolate” were stupid.
Still love this site though.
They didn’t do such a great job on this one. I mean the ideas and flavor concepts are creative, but the quality of the image is lacking…

I think I liked these about the same as the “manly” ones. It would make for a funny front on a card maybe ^_^ I think they could of came up with something different then the four chocolate ones tho.
I think guys would prefer the taste of cleavage…
i would have thought some of the flavors would have been things like “George Clooney’s lips” or “Brad Pitt musk” or something like that.
Hmm…I like how cramps is the fiery red one. lol. But perhaps it should look like ibuprofen, or some other medicine.

@Cirqueen – how is it offensive? We have 11 Candy Addict staff members that are female (and 2 that aren’t) and every one of them thought the Girly Beans were hilarious!
Most people who take offense to the two bean sets do not know what “satire” or “parody” are in the graphic arts (they are usually used for things that people do not agree with for social and political points). These are not meant to be “real.” Both sets of beans are based on stereotypes:
“Manly Men” are stereotypically obsessed with their Machismo, Beer, Breasts, etc.
“Girly Girls” are stereotypically obsessed with Dieting, Chocolate, Make-up, etc.
Interesting choice that a “Boys” bean is not included (making the set sexuality-neutral…this is not a bad thing), and Valentines day is the BLACK bean (not exactly “girly” in the stereotypical sense, but funny nonetheless).
“Lemon Water” really made me laugh.
So… Hillary…. what exactly is that going to taste like? Hmm, should I even try to guess? Um…. s…no… b… no… ummm… blueberry I guess.
Overall, an excellent and intelligent addition to the site! Thanks for the giggles.

Hey, it’s parody and parody is fun! Yeah, I’m one of the female CA staff that finds this hilarious. I came up with some other girly bean names, too, that aren’t on here which are fun and yeah, stereotypical as all get out, but that’s comedy! And I’m not very girly.
Now, if you want, I can do the Not-So-Girly Girly Beans for us sporty gals…like “Camping” (dark green), “Softball” (cream,) “Cross Training Shoes” (white), “10-Mile Hike” (bright blue,) “Pizza & Beer” (red speckled with brown and pale orange), “No Make Up” (tan), “Women’s NCAA Basketball,” (orange), etc. Oh, the list is endless! I can make fun of myself first and foremost because it’s FUN! We’re all about FUN here at Candy Addict, so dang, I do wish we could make these beans a reality (as well as the Manly Beans) and use them for gift giving!

My dad and I entered the contest to creat a new jelly bean and we came up with two of them.
guarana- Guarana is a soft drink from Brazil.It taste very good and it gives you alot of energy which would help you exercise and lose weight.
Miracle Berry-it is a little berry from Florida.It actually comes from West Africa.When you first bite it taste bitter,but everthing else taste very sweet. I hope I win the contest because all the ladies will love it.

@12: They honestly should make a miracle berry flavored jelly bean. But in order for it to work, they would have to put those special proteins or whatever they were that bond to your taste buds and make the sweet taste. Million dollar idea.
