We recently gave away some Wrigley gum and mints by having a Wrigley trivia contest. Turns out those questions were hard and not one single person got all of them right. The most we had was 5 correct (two people). We ended up giving the prizes to the top 5 closest to getting them all correct.

Did anyone ever find out anything about the “Talky Tyres� If you did, please post!
I never found out. I read pages and pages of Wrigleys ads. I will have to go the Chicago library to find out.
^_^ I had e-mailed the nice Wrigley people about the “Talky Tyres” and this is what they said:
“Talky Tyres were a promotional device of the 1930’s. Wrigley
salesmen traveled around the countryside in green two-door sedans. Cars in
those days had the spare tire mounted on the back of the car. The talky
tyre, was a metal frame that fit over the spare tire on the back of the
car. Inside the wheel-shaped frame was a lighted advertising message
that revolved.”
^__^ I had the wrong answer for the “PK” question! I can’t remember what website I got my answer from though.
