Good lord this candy bar is good. Seriously. I think of all the Limited Edition candy I have tried, this is by far the best. The wrapper says “Coffee Caramel & Chocolate Cookie Covered in Milk Chocolate” and the coffee flavor is just right – not too strong and not too weak. The chocolate cookie goes perfectly with the coffee flavor and the milk chocolate. Looking on the ingredient list, I see “espresso ground coffee” as the last ingredient, so it looks like it gets its coffee taste honestly.
Just to make sure I wasn’t the only one who thought this Twix Java was good, I shared and gave one stick to my wife. She agreed it’s great. It’s definitely good enough to earn our coveted CandyAddict.com Awesomely Addictive Candy Award. It’s that good.
According to the press CD I got from Mars, “TWIX® Java will be available in retail stores nationwide in December 2007.” Most candies actually hit stores before their scheduled release date, so if you are hankering for some Twix Java goodness, I’d start looking for it in stores right about… NOW. No word on how long the limited edition will last, so get it while you can.
Thanks for the review–love coffee/choc combo. I’ll search these out…

Where can I find Twix Java bars in Providence RI or Boston MA
January 30th, 2008 at 4:39 pmAnyone else from Tucson reading and have found these anywhere? I’ve been looking all over the place to no avail. I’ve asked a few stores about them and nobody has ever heard of them (but we candy addicts know they exist, thanks to Brian)!
I reeeeeeeeally want to try this but can’t afford to mail order any. If I could afford mail order candy, good god, I’d be swimming in the stuff from every corner of the world!

February 1st, 2008 at 7:49 pmJulie, I just found mine at wal-mart yesterday (the first day they had them), so maybe some places are slower than others at getting them?
February 7th, 2008 at 6:10 pmI tried Twix Java yesterday.I didn`t know they existed,I just found them at a convnience store (Missouri) and tried one. It was is the best Twix yet! I can`t believe its a limited time only deal. They should really advertise and market these and make them a permanent addition to the Twix family! The peanut butter ones don`t cut it but the java ones do! A+++
February 10th, 2008 at 4:46 pmTwix Java is the best Twix they have ever made.I was really impressed.I must have more but they are hard to find!Come on Twix company, give the public what it wants!!
February 10th, 2008 at 4:55 pmI found a lot of these at Wal-Mart. I thought they were amazing. But I would have prefered a little bit stronger coffee flavor.
February 23rd, 2008 at 5:25 pmOMG. I just discovered these last week in my office vending machine. They have made an ADDICT of me. I don’t even like coffee! I hope these last a while (at least until I get sick of them, which hopefully is soon, because I can’t stop eating them)!!!
March 17th, 2008 at 6:32 pmI tried the Java Twix for the first time about three weeks ago and I can’t stop eating them. Everytime I go in the store I look for them and they are hard to find, I even emailed txiw and called mars candy company. Just yesterday I found some more at walmart and I bought the whole box. I am offically addicted to the Java Twix. LOL
March 20th, 2008 at 12:21 pmI saw the Twix Java about 2 months ago and thought I’d try it. I never buy candy, but (as a woman) I was having a craving that day. OH MY GOODNESS!! I have searched and searched and searched since that one bar and have never been able to find them again. Even just a few days later! I only had one package and am so mad because it was SO incredibly amazingly good and I never buy candy bars! It’s like you say – all the flavors worked perfectly together, never over powering each other. I hope it hasn’t already gone away!
April 19th, 2008 at 6:56 pmI had not heard about Twix Java (I know !! Where have I been????) ….but last Saturday I was shopping and happened to see them. I bought one and thought it was really, really good. I got on the net during my lunch to find the Twix sight so that I could email the company and tell them how good I thought they were… brilliant!! …but their sight takes some kind of flash player that is not on my work computer so I will do that later at home. In the mean time I saw this site and decided to put my 2 cents worth in. I didn’t know they were limited edition… YIKES !!…haha… I guess I should go get some more before they are gone.
April 28th, 2008 at 1:59 pmMy Mom and I discovered these in the grocery store recently and fell in love. I e-mailed the company and they are now saying Java Twix are no longer being made! So I went online and bought 2 36 bar boxes from a bulk candy seller anyway. That should last us a while.
May 18th, 2008 at 6:37 amI just found these today at Big Lots (possibly still called Odd Lots in some places).
