As I child I was always fascinated by the unnaturally colored bubble gum ice cream that I’d see in my local Baskin Robbins. I wasn’t even a fan of bubble gum, but the idea of candy in ice cream made it so much more desirable. I had to have it. Unfortunately, no amount of begging would convince my Mom to buy that particular flavor for me.

Thankfully now that I’m grown older I can buy any flavor ice cream I wish or I can make it myself! In honor of National Ice Cream Month we present to you a wonderful recipe for Bubble Gum Ice Cream! The recipe itself sounds really easy and sounds like it tastes great! Let us know how it turns out if you give it a try! Be sure and add lots of red food coloring to make it bubblegum pink! I plan on giving this one a go myself. Sorry Mom!

After working there when I was a kid I soon realized that they clearly make the best ice cream there is. For those of you that disagree you must remember quality of the product ends when it is in your hands. If you bought it in a grocery store it’s automatically crap even if it says Baskin Robins on it. Just found your website and I’ve spent way too long tonight going through the archives – thanks for doing this, I love it! And this article brought back memories! I insisted on having bubble gum ice cream in my Baskin Robbins ice cream cake when I was about 8 and two girls at my birthday party got gum in their hair! Needless to say that was the only year I got that flavor. ;)
