Haiku Candy Reviews

I was going to just post some quick thoughts on some of these candies but then I thought it would be fun to do the mini reviews in haiku form. So, I give you, our first ever Haiku Candy Reviews:

Ice Breakers Sours Gum
Flavor starts out strong,
but fades away too quickly.
I was underwhelmed.

Space Food Sticks
Retro candy cubes.
Tastes like gross energy bars.
Launch them into space.

starbucks spearmint gum

Starbuck’s After Coffee Gum
For after coffee.
I had no coffee, just gum.
The taste was just blah.

Jelly Belly Lollibeans
Lollibeans are big.
They barely fit in my mouth.
Don’t have much flavor.

Please leave a comment letting me know if this was a stupid idea or if you liked the haikus so I know if I should ever do more Haiku Candy Reviews in the future.

  1. Well, I thought it was neat, but you should have balanced them with good reviews of other candy as well.

  2. I liked the candy haiku. I’m sorry the candy wasn’t better this time around, though!

  3. I’d like to try my hand at these, but I’m not sure how I’d sum up a candy in seventeen syllables!

  4. Fun! Makes me want to play around with new ideas and new candy. Keep it up.

  5. I actually found those haikus hilarious. The Space Food Sticks one cracked me up :)

  6. I loved the haiku reviews. They’re a good way to pack a lot of reviews in little space too! Maybe you could expand on some of the reviews if there was more you felt you needed to say.

  7. HA! These cracked me up! Definitely do more of these! While it would be good to see a positive haiku review for balance, I’m guessing the negative ones are funnier…that little down turn on the end is what made me laugh on all of these.

  8. smarties soft but hard,
    suck off the rainbow sugar,
    reveals smooth centre.

    deep fried snickers bar,
    gooey and delightful mush,
    a sugar wonder.
