I feel I speak for everyone when I say bubble wrap is one of the best reasons for getting large packages in the mail. I don’t know exactly why it’s so appealing. Is it the texture? The interactivity? The satisfying “pop” noise it makes when you squeeze? The taste?
Wait, what? The taste? Yes, you heard me. The geniuses over at DeLessio Market in San Francisco make Chocolate Bubble Wrap. What a great idea! The bubble wrap comes in several flavors, such as Milk Chocolate with Macadamia Nut Brittle, White Chocolate with Roasted Salted Cashews, and Bittersweet with Cocoa Nibs. There are several purchasing options as well, in case you want to give it as a gift or just buy it in bulk for yourself.
I wonder if regular bubble wrap keeps the chocolate safe when they ship it to you? Only one way to find out!

This idea has been around for a while as a textural element in chocolate showpieces. But how smart to sell it as is ( I know when I’ve used it as garnishes, it doesn’t all end up on the plate!). Have to say, I’m jealous I didn’t think of this first.
That kind of looks like a honeycomb, which freaks me out a little bit. I prefer to think of it as bubble wrap. Yum!
