As part of Food Networks “Covered In Chocolate” week, their show Food Network Challenge will challenge top chefs to create wearable clothes made from chocolate!
For those of you that don’t know, Food Network Challenge is a weekly show where they take several chefs or teams of chefs and challenge them to create an item that fits the requirement. They’ve done giant wedding cakes, ice sculptures, and some others that use candy, but usually that is in the form of melted sugar.
In this challenge, the chefs will be competing for $10,000, but their chocolate evening dress must make it through a live runway show on a live model. Typically, their creations only have to make it to the judging table. Hopefully nothing will melt!
The episode airs this Sunday at 10 PM, and as I stated before, it’s part of Food Networks “Covered In Chocolate” week, which features nearly round the clock programming about chocolate. Included are a Valentine’s Edition of Unwrapped, and a Chocolate Throwdown with Bobby Flay.
I am def. going to watch that show when it comes on television. I love when chefs are challenged to make gingerbread houses, or chefs compete against one another to make the best dinner within an hour. Its so entertaining and fun to watch.
