UPDATE: We hired four new writers!
If you’ve ever wanted to get free candy shipped to you and get paid to write about candy, now is your chance! Candy Addict is looking for another writer to add to the staff! What are we looking for in the ideal Candy Addict writer?
- A love of candy, obviously
- Excellent writing skills
- A sense of humor that comes through in your writing
- Familiarity with HTML – you don’t have to be an HTML guru, just have some basic knowledge
- Knowledge of WordPress is a big plus, but not required. If two writers had equal skills but one had WordPress knowledge, I’d probably choose the writer with the WordPress skills if all other things were equal
What will you get out of writing for Candy Addict?
- Free candy – we get lots of free candy to review – you will go into the free candy rotation and get some too (but you will have to review it – poor you)
- Money – yes, we will pay you. You will be paid a percentage of the site’s monthly profits. As the site grows, so does your income.
- A paid writing gig to put on your resume
- No deadlines – write when you can

UPDATE: If you want candy samples to review, you must live in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S. you can still write for us and get paid, but you would get no free candy.
UPDATE #2 I have received a virtual flood of applicants so I’m closing the door for now. If you didn’t make it in this round, perhaps you can get in next time (if/when there is a next time).
