You know you’re a Candy Addict when …

Today was the first day here in North Carolina that it was cold enough for a coat. I pulled my two coats out of the closet and lo and behold, BOTH coats had candy in the pockets from last season. One had half of a movie-size bag of Skittles from when we went to see the Curious George movie last February. Even though the bad wasn’t ziploc’d shut, they are still just as fresh and as good as ever. The other coat had two after dinner mints in the pocket from a local restaurant. My breath must have been fine after eating.

I guess you could argue that I an not a Candy Addict though because a true Addict wouldn’t have forgotten about candy in the pockets. Anybody else ever found forgotten candy like that (and eaten it)? I have another story about found candy but I’ll save that for another time. :)

candy, sweets, skittles, mint, mints, lost, found

  1. I didn’t eat it, but I used to have a wool winter coat that had M&Ms stuck in the lining. See, there was a little hole in the pocket, and the candy slipped in one by one, and then I couldn’t get them out without tearing the lining further. So for a few years I had the solidified mass of candy in my coat. I don’t know why it didn’t melt or stain.

  2. Back when I carried a purse, I would keep bags of candy in them. Whenever I would go to clean it out every few months, I’d find a Jelly Belly at the bottom. Then I’d eat it. :p

  3. i love candy i sometimes eat it off the floor if i drop it.all i need is a little sugar to get rid of my headaches and candy do that job. candies are so good when im at school in computer class and i get a headache i eat one starburst or sour skittle to get rid of the headache.all ineed is a little sugar and it does a headache really good.
