The site has thousands of recipes on file, along with cooking tips, a message board, and other standard web features. There are two sections dedicated to candy—Candy Recipes and Candy Bar Recipes.
I had to click on the Snickers Salad recipe, because I envisioned romaine and tomatoes tossed with candy. Yuck. Luckily, the salad sounds very good—it calls for apples, chocolate sprinkles, Cool Whip, and, of course, Snickers bars. When I was a kid, a friend’s mom always made delicious cookies with a Hershey Kiss on top, similar to the Macaroon Kisses recipe. The Rolo Cookies sound good too.
The Recipe Goldmine site is cool, but I wish they’d add pictures like many other cooking sites (Kraft Foods, for example). Pictures or not, even novice cooks like me probably can’t go wrong by mixing candy and other sugary stuff together.
