Nintendo Power Mints

It looks like the person above is holding a NES controller, doesn’t it? Nope – it’s a tin of Nintendo Power Mints! It’s even the exact size of an actual NES controller. As a child of the 80′s and a huge video game fan, I can’t help but love this thing. I’ve got to find a pack of these. Over at onNintendo where I found this, one reader said he found them at World Market, so I’ll be looking for them next time I’m there.

UPDATE: I found them locally at the World Market!

  1. Hey, I randomly stumbled upon your site and love it already! I found the Nintendo Power Mints and knew my boyfriend HAD to have them. Just thought I’d let you know, after a bit of a search, I found a site that not only carries them, but actually has them in stock. Fractalspin.com….3 days till they get here…I can’t wait!

RESPONSE: Cool! Glad to hear it! I hope you’ll visit often! :) I found them at the World Market locally. They are very cool, but I’m a videogame freak too. This is my arcade/gameroom

  2. okay so i actually have these…don’t open them. they’re GROSS. adorable, but GROSS. they even look chalky and unpleasant and have a ridiculously strong scent.

RESPONSE: I didn’t think they were bad at all. A little too sweet, but definitely not gross. :)
