Kids can now temporarily tattoo their tongue with a whole range of images in sweet and sour flavors with Tung Toos, a new novelty candy introduced this week at the All Candy Expo. Tung Toos are sold in different packs for boys and girls, each containing 10 tattoos that transfer instantly to tongues with text messages like: “L8R, STOP, 411, and LOL,” as well as other zany images, and a mirror card.
Available for an SRP of 99 cents, Tung Toos provide “ten wonderfully tasty opportunities to tell people how you feel, for less than a buck,” says Anthony Shurman, President, Yosha! Enterprises, the Westfield, NJ-based marketer of Tung Toos. The packs also include a collectible mirror card for immediate viewing of “tungtooed” tongues, complete with a series of collectible wacky characters on the back.

The company that makes those fruit leathers for kids used to include tongue tattoos in the packages. My kids liked them, but it was difficult to see what the image was.
