The All Candy Expo begins in just two weeks. For those that don’t know,
The ALL CANDY EXPO® is a unique opportunity to buy, sell and network with industry professionals and decision makers. The Expo is the largest confectionery-only show in North America.Attendees are buyers from all classes of trade including supermarkets, drug stores, vending, convenience stores, wholesalers, theaters, mass merchants, specialty and department stores. Importers, exporters, suppliers, distributors and brokers also attend, making the EXPO the ‘must attend’ show of the year.
Remember the Simpson’s video I posted? It’s like that, only for real! There were 450 exhibitors and nearly 20,000 attendees at the 2005 event and they are expecting a similar turnout this year. If you are into video games, think E3 for candy. I would have LOVED to go to the show – it’s a Candy Addict’s dream, but even if I could manage to get a press pass, the cost of flying to Chicago, room and board, and other incidentals just puts it beyond my reach financially. Maybe next year. Our friend Cybele at The Candy Blog is going to the show so we look forward to some great stories from her.
So, we’re going to try and do the next best thing – cover the show remotely. Hundreds of new candies will be announced during the 3-day show (June 6-8) so we will do our best to announce any/all new products that are officially announced/launched during that time. We may just do a quick post summarizing a press release, but we’ll try and pass on any info we can get. It’ll be a fun week.
I recently started a business in Chicago. I would like to attend the candy show that appears in Chicago each year during the summer months. Can you either provide some informaton, or direct to the appropriate source. Thank you.

well my parents go the all candy expo almost every year and i was wondering are kids allowed to get samples or even enter the place
