UPDATE: Due to legal issues, Pimp My Snack has become Pimp That Snack.
MTV’s Pimp My Ride has spawned a host of other “Pimp My…” shows and ideas and here is one that delves into the world of candy. The site is called Pimp My Snack and at the site they detail Pimpin’ Projects that enlarge, reproduce, and or bling snacks and candy. Some examples: Fabergé Creme Egg, Maaars Bar, Mega Twix, and KitKat Chunky Peanut Butter (aka PimpKat).
Pimp My Snack is UK-based, so some of the snacks are unfamiliar to me, but they are still worth checking out. The Pimp My Snack forums are alive with lots of new ideas for snacks to pimp, so it looks like this site might be around for a while. If only they had an RSS feed (hint, hint) so I can be notified of new Pimpin’ Projects as they come online.

I would like to know how to make Thornton’s Treacle Toffee but what I’ve seen on your pages all seem to relate to US confectionery and it’s all called candy. Can you help an addict of treacle toffee.

Has anyone responded to the request for treacle in the US or specifically for Thornton’s candy. I was blown away at the cost of shipping to the US.
6 packages of treacle from Thornton’s which is fabulous, would cost me 11 pounds but the shipping was 25 pounds, which is crazy to me.
