I was in Wal-Mart last night shopping for a new Christmas tree stand and trying to find some Gobstoppers candy canes (didn’t find any), and I finally found some Hershey’s Kissables in the wild. At the “Everyday Low Price” of $0.48, I couldn’t resist, so I bought a bag. For those that don’t know, Kissables are essentially candy-coated miniature Hershey’s Kisses – they look like candy-coated chocolate chips. They come in an assortment of 5 bright colors: yellow, orange, red, green, and blue – very similar to M&Ms.
The Kissables were really good – the only thing I found wrong was they were gone too soon (but that’s probably because I was sharing them with my daughter). I think the chocolate to candy-coating ratio is a bit higher than M&Ms (the Kissables have more chocolate) and I think that’s what really does it for me. Regular size M&M packs are 1.69oz and the Kissables are 1.5oz, so you actually get just a bit more candy with M&Ms, but if I had $0.50 to burn and M&M’s and Kissables were side-by-side, I’d go with the Kissables.
I actually tried some of these last week. The snack vending machine at my office now has them! They are YUMMY. And I agree, they are better than M&M’s (although I feel as if I’m committing a bit of candy heresy by writing that). Like you, I appreciate what seems to be a higher chocolate to candy-coating ratio. I also like the fact that it’s actually HERSHEY’S chocolate. Not to put the M&M/Mars Company down, but I prefer the taste of Hershey’s. So, the good news is, now that my workplace snack machine is carrying Kissables, I’ll have convenient access to these little gems. The bad news is, because of this easy access to Kissables, I’ll probably be gaining a bit of weight.
For years, I have been trying to find Hersheyets, the Hershey answer to M&Ms. I have even looked at the Hershey factory store, to no avail…but now they are back in this new shape and just as good as ever…yes, better than M&Ms.
These little guys are wonderful! Not only do they taste better than M&Ms, but they have a far more pleasing crunch. I think it may be due to the fact that they’re pointed, rather than smooth and round. Matt, FYI, Hersheyets are available now at the Hershey factory store, Chocolate World. They are in a candy cane tube; perhaps they are only available over the holidays.

I think i must be the only person on here that did not care for the Kissables. My girlfriend and I picked them up the other day and we found them to not look as good as an M&M, the shell wasn’t as thick, although the crunch was fun. We both decided we liked the hershey chocolate but would just as soon prefer it to just be mini hershey kisses without the shell. On a side note I would be thrilled if I could find the cherry kisses in half as many places as the kissables.
Hershey’s Kissables are little dollops of confectionary yumminess — a crunchy coating and a delectable chocolate minikiss that melts in the mouth. These little beauties MAKE you kissable, too — they give you delicious CHOCOLATE BREATH! M&Ms are nowhere compared to these little gems!
BRAVO Hershey Co.!! These new HERSHEY KISSABLES are the best thing…why, why yes…the best thing to come along since Hersheyettes!!

I LOVE KISSABLES!
kissables are very delightfully crunchable and munchable!
I think Hersheys Kissables are very yummy. They are just like m &m, but i think they have a better taste.
I made yummy cookies with them:

Hershey Mini Kissables do not taste good at all! Well… at least there not to me! I jus ate them so I could write a paper on it.
