My sister tried these when she was pregnant and swore by them. I’ve never tried one, but she and a friend of hers both loved them when they were pregnant
December 8th, 2005 at 8:27 amActually I use these on a regular basis for various stomach problems. They work well to settle your stomach under most circumstances. I would recommend them to anyone!
February 23rd, 2007 at 1:07 pmThey’re pure magic when you’re on chemotherapy. When I took my meds, all I wanted to do was curl up and puke, but these really helped my nausea. I held my food down better, and I think the pops distracted me from what was really going on. So yeah, I’d recommend them to anyone :)
August 3rd, 2007 at 8:00 amI never used the queazy pops, but i did use the preggie pops every day. That was the only thing that kept me going all day without feeling sick! A definate must have!!
December 6th, 2007 at 10:05 amThese are great! I am leary about the ginger flavor and the lavender flavor, but the mints are wonderful.
January 4th, 2008 at 2:09 amInterestingly, the ingredients in both Queasy Drops/Pops and Preggie Drops/Pops are nearly 100% identical to the ingredients in Pure Fun hard candies and lollipops. As such, these candies all taste remarkably similar and are equally effective in combating nausea. The only real difference seems to be the marketing. Oh, and the price. Pure Fun candies and lollipops cost half as much, on the average, as the Queasy/Preggie Drops and Pops.
This is not to knock Queasy/Preggie Drops & Pops. Three Lollies, the manufacturer of these candies, is — like Pure Fun — a first class candy company, which offers naturally-flavored, candies that are made in the U.S.A. with quality ingredients. While Three Lollies offers some organic options, all of the Pure Fun candies are organic. Again, the difference seems to be in the price. You get more bang for your buck from Pure Fun!
