Second Annual Toxic Waste Earth Day 2008 Toxic Takedown Challenge™

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Candy Dynamics, a cutting edge marketer of popular novelty candy products, announced today that in celebration of Earth Day 2008 on April 22nd, the company is hosting its second annual Toxic Takedown Challenge™. The Toxic Waste® Hazardously Sour Candy® Toxic Takedown Challenge™ promotes environmental awareness for kids of all ages (6 years old and up) and encourages them to pay tribute to the environment by actively participating in Earth Day festivities. The announcement was made by Karen Windle-Burcham, President of Candy Dynamics.

Beginning today through May 31st, the public is invited to visit www.toxicwastecandy.com to enter a drawing for a chance to win Toxic Waste candy and a $500 United States EE Series Savings Bond. Entering is easy and fun! Participants are asked to fill out an entry form and submit a tip or creative idea about what people can do to help the planet and the environment. One lucky grand prize winner will be awarded a week’s supply of Toxic Waste candy and the Savings Bond, plus 25 runner ups will win Toxic Waste Candy. Winners will be announced on June 6th, and their entries will be posted on the Toxic Waste website.

Last year, countless publications and over fifty radio stations across the country, partnered with Candy Dynamics to celebrate Earth Day. To get the ball rolling this year, Candy Dynamics and Toxic Waste are providing editors and producers with a list of twenty useful environmental tips to share with their audiences.
