NEW YORK – May 2007 – Everyone enjoys a good chocolate fix and who more than the “Girls Next Door?” This month Playboy Enterprises, Inc. announced it began shipping the company’s new and much awaited line of premium chocolate bars to retailers nationwide.
Playboy’s chocolate bars come in highly designed individual boxes and are available in both milk and dark varieties. The collection retails from $3.99 to $5.99 and is available nationwide at Spencers and other retail outlets. It can also be purchased online at www.playboychocolate.com.
“Our chocolate will be in sensuous and flirty Playboy-branded packaging and is great for a gift to that special someone, or when you just need that afternoon chocolate fix,” said Adrianna Chinnici, vice president, licensing, Playboy Enterprises, Inc.
The Playboy chocolate line will include all-natural 3.5oz premium milk and dark chocolate bars gift-boxed in fun and flirty packaging for the discerning, yet playful Playboy consumer. There are six different designs featuring the iconic Playboy bunny. Some designs include fun sayings such as:
“I’m a Girl..Chocolate is Not a Luxury, It’s a Necessity;” “What Happens at the Mansion, Stays at the Mansion;” and “Young and Loaded.”
To create their chocolate and packaging, Playboy partnered with Praim, a turn-key licensing and private label chocolate company best known for its all-natural premium chocolate and highly creative designed packaging.
