Nestle will be introducing 3 new products at the All Candy Expo – Wonkazoid, Squeez, and Berry Nerds. Wonkazoid is an electronic game/dispenser pack which comes in four varieties: SweeTarts Oompa Candy Flip, Nerds Hockey, Shockers Shockball Showdown, and Nerds Freeze Tag. Wonkazoids will retail for about $9-$10. SweeTarts Squeez is a sweet and tart taste in a fun, squeezable tube in 2 flavors: Wild Cherry and Green Apple and retails for about $1.65.
Nestle will also be releasing Dark Chocolate Raisinets (YUM!) , Coffee Crisp, and under their PowerBar line … Nut Naturals. Coffee Crisp is popular in Canada and will now also be sold in the U.S. Coffee Crisp “balances the taste of coffee with a delicious chocolate coating that is delivered on light crispy wafers”. Sounds good to me!
UPDATE: We’re getting a lot of people trying to find where to buy Wonkazoids. I have seen them locally in a number of places: near the checkout at a grocery store, at my local Blockbuster, and yesterday while Christmas shopping I saw them at Limited Too at the mall. They are out there – just keep looking!

I wrote about
this super-cool tshirt previously and my sister came through for me on
my birthday and got one for me. I still think it’s the greatest Tshirt ever. So, after six months of writing Candy Addict, I now have my first candy tshirt. I’m wearing it right now and I’m feeling extra Nerd-y. Thanks, sis!

Here is a hilarious ebay auction for a Wonka Nerd shaped liked the state of Indiana. From the auction:
OH MY GOSH! I was just munchin down a box of nerd candy and guess what I found. A HUGE NERD SHAPED LIKE INDIANA. Check out the pictures. Now the funny part is that, Indiana is where my Dad grew up. And, me and my family just spent 3 whole weeks there this summer. Is that bizarre or what. REMEMBER you are bidding on the pink NERD CANDY SHAPED LIKE INDIANA, NOT ME, THE NERD IN THE HAT.
Unfortunately, the auction has ended with zero bids, though last time it was listed it ended at $4.25 with 2 bids and the reserve wasn’t met – I wonder what the reserve is. I guess there just isn’t much interest in candy shaped like states. Now if it had been shaped like a celebrity like maybe…Idunno…Heidi Klum..man, the bids would have come flying in!

I’m speechless. I just found the best candy Tshirt ever at Split Reason. It combines my two loves: candy and nerdiness (my other blog).
I’m a cheapass though and I can’t justify the $23 (with shipping cost). Still a great shirt though! Anyone else have a favorite candy-related Tshirt?
