Another Friday, another Friday Fun. Today I bring you the Nestle Crunch Squirting Gallery. It’s sort of like those squirting games you play at amusement parks and fairs except there you win fun prizes and here you play the game with your keyboard. It’s actually really tricky (and hard) since the hose keeps moving back towards the center.
You get “prizes” for different levels of scores. After about 10 tries I finally broke the 1000 point mark (once I figured out the trick) but the prize was a screensaver and the link didn’t work! Grrrrrr! Oh well, it’s still a fun game.
I can’t give you a direct link to it since the whole site is Flash, but go to http://www.nestlecrunch.com, point at Fun Zone at the bottom, then choose Squirting Gallery. Have fun!

A week or so ago, I posted how to get some free Nestle Stixx and yesterday they arrived (that was fast). I chose the Nestle Crunch Stixx and I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I didn’t really pay attention to what I was getting, I was more focused on the FREE CANDY aspect. No matter how much free candy I receive, it still amazes me that you can get free candy in the mail.
So what are Nestle Crunch Stixx? They are 5.5 inch long tubes that are a crunchy wafer filled with a chocolatey-creamy substance, then coated in chocolate and crisped rice. On first bite I knew I recognized the taste and after a few bites I got it – they are chocolate-covered Piroulines. We used to buy Piroulines maybe once a year – they come in a tin of about 25 (14oz) and cost about $5-$7. My wife and I love them and we would buy them as a treat for ourselves.
The Nestle Stixx is the exact same thing as a pirouline only it’s dipped in chocolate and crisped rice. The Piroulines are wonderful and covering them in chocolate doesn’t do much to make them better. Covering something already wonderful in chocolate can’t be a bad thing though.
I really wish I would have chosen the Butterfinger flavor just to see how they integrated the Butterfinger taste into it. My friend Cybele from the Candy Blog tried the Dark Chocolate Stixx and gave it a 7/10 rating. If I had to give the Nestle Crunch Stixx a numerical rating that’s about the number I would give it too.
Stixx come in a pack of 6 and retails for $1.99.
BTW – if you did get the free Stixx, they will send you an email with a link to “Pass the Stixx” to 3 other people – use it to get 3 more free Stixx for your friends/family!
