Tic Tac’s Small Fun Revolution Campaign

So many times Canadians are excluded from candy giveaways and contests, but not this time!

Tic Tac Canada has launched their “Small Fun Revolution” campaign. They are encouraging Canadian Tic Tac candy fans to submit their own small fun creation for a chance at 24 hours of small fun with $5000!

How to Enter:
Create a video or photo of something made out of Tic Tacs or Tic Tac boxes and submit it at tictacsmallfun.ca for a chance to win the grand prize, 24 hours of small fun with $5000. Creations will be judged on originality, creativity, and of course, overall fun-ness. Also, the first 1000 entries get a free t-shirt from Tic Tac. For more information, visit tictacsmallfun.ca.

They have already seen Tic Tac artwork, buildings and contraptions – the possibilities for creativity are endless!

Best Candy Schwag Ever? Mystery Package from Stark Industries (and Reese’s / Marvel / MIT)

Stark Industries Iron Man 2 safe

Being a Candy Addict, I manage to get some cool candy schwag every now and then, but today I got the coolest yet. It’s a safe stolen from Stark Industries (from Iron Man).

Allow me to explain…

A few days ago I got a semi-mysterious email from an MIT student saying that he was working with Marvel Studios and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups to promote the upcoming Iron Man 2 movie. He said he was part of Team Peanut Butter and they were out to beat Team Chocolate.

CLASSIC CARAMEL TO MANUFACTURE AND DISTRIBUTE BONOMO TURKISH TAFFY®

CAMP HILL, PA Classic Caramel, LLC is pleased to announce that is has signed agreements with Bonomo Turkish Taffy®, LLC to manufacture and be the master distributor to the retail trade for Bonomo®.

Bonomo®, one of the great nostalgic candy brands, has not been commercially manufactured or sold since the mid 1980’s. Bonomo® was a true national brand in the 1950’s and 1960’s. The company’s tagline, “Smack it Crack It!”, was realized by consumers as they smacked the taffy against a hard surface and ate the pieces off the wrapper.

The original formulation, manufacturing process, and even the original flavors have been resurrected. “In taste testing, the comments from those that remember the bar have been very complimentary, ‘just like they remembered it’ is the frequent comment” says Ken Wiesen, President and Co-CEO of Bonomo®.

“Bonomo® is truly a revered old fashioned candy brand with a unique taste and formulation that currently does not exist in the market. Classic Caramel is thrilled that this brand is joining our family of other nostalgic brands, Slo Poke®, BB Bats®, Kits®, & Flipsticks™.
