Thanks for the winning comment, Amy! What a great memory! I once pantsed someone and am often reminded of it. ;) Here’s the winning comment:
i love the peppermint bark, but i was really intrigued by the caramel filled squares i tried last summer. great combination.
my favorite holiday tradition is getting to open one gift on christmas eve. as a kid, having to choose just the right one was soooo hard.
and i remember the year my mom gave us christmas themed underwear. each pair had rudolph or santas, etc… anyway, she told us we had to wear them, and she threatened to check later on. that was such a fun day. running around and being carefree. i miss that feeling of not having a care in the world. and the fear of being pantsed at any moment was pretty funny. oh, and she never checked. :)

My favorite ghiradelli flavor is dark chocolate with mint. Our favorite holiday tradition is to make Christmas crackers on Christmas eve for us to enjoy with our meal on Christmas day.
December 13th, 2010 at 12:43 amI have to go with:

I LOVE dark chocolate – the darker the better. Best part is most people don’t, so there is always more for me ;-)
December 13th, 2010 at 12:44 amMy favorite Ghirardelli flavor is THIS! I wish they sold Peppermint Bark year-round… it’s SO GOOD.
December 13th, 2010 at 2:56 amMy favorite Ghirardelli flavor is the Peppermint Bark. I wait for it every year… It is just that good. As for winter holiday traditions, I don’t have many. I’ve mostly worked during the holidays since I became an adult. My sister is Jewish and eats Chinese food on Christmas Day. I really enjoy doing that with her.
December 13th, 2010 at 4:37 amI love the Peppermint bark. A few years back, I got some eggnog flavored ghirardelli, and it was astounding as well.
December 13th, 2010 at 7:44 amPeppermint yum yum!
December 13th, 2010 at 11:12 amMy favorite ghiradelli flavor is peppermint. Our favorite holiday tradition is to make mini pizza as a family on christmas Eve.
December 13th, 2010 at 12:24 pmI love the milk chocolate peanut butter filled squares….the peanut butter is so creamy… And one holiday tradition my family and I have is baking cookies and brownies the week of christmas (all week)…Cooking is something I love doing and you can always be creative. Sometimes for the kids I like to use the ghirardelli squares in my brownies as an extra suprise.
December 13th, 2010 at 12:32 pmMy favorite flavor is milk chocolate with caramel.
I have a whole Christmas experience each year. My husband’s family does their gift exchange on Christmas Eve, to the accompaniment of Christmas pork and potato salad for dinner, then on Christmas morning, my stepmom calls before dawn to gather the whole extended family (or at least the ones crazy enough to actually answer the phone) for hot cocoa (didn’t think I was going to work in candy,eh?) and presents.
December 13th, 2010 at 3:14 pmI LOVE peppermint bark.
My favourite tradition is when as a family we make baklava together
December 13th, 2010 at 3:53 pmI like the milk chocolate one with caramel inside.
we don’t really have any traditions in my family
December 13th, 2010 at 3:54 pmMy favorite is the milk chocolate with peanut butter filling. I love to make brownies for Christmas and put a layer of these in the middle of the batter before I bake them. Now THAT is a Christmas treat!
December 13th, 2010 at 4:52 pmAlthough the peppermint bark is right up there, my favorite Ghirardelli flavor is the dark chocolate and mint.
As far as a tradition, when I was growing up, my Mom would buy frozen fruit turnovers and we would have them as part of the Christmas morning festivities. It’s a tradition I carried over and now do it every Christmas morning with my girlfriend. Something so simple, yet it reminds me of being a kid on Christmas morning. Always look forward to my Christmas morning turnovers.
December 13th, 2010 at 5:12 pmI love the peppermint bark. I also love the mint and raspberry darks!
December 13th, 2010 at 7:01 pmI try to have a few friends over a couple times the two weeks before Christmas to make treats. I make “coffee stirrers” and caramel covered pretzels rolled in pecans with chocolate drizzled over. The Ghiradelli peppermint would be DELICIOUS stirred into hot chocolate. Ghiradelli caramel for the pretzels. Hmmm…….lots of fun!
December 13th, 2010 at 8:43 pmLove, love, love chocolate raspberry! Wish there was a chocolate hazelnut too – mmmmmmmmm!
December 13th, 2010 at 9:36 pmi love the peppermint bark, but i was really intrigued by the caramel filled squares i tried last summer. great combination.

December 13th, 2010 at 9:43 pmThe crisps and the hazelnuts are the best ones.
Our Christmas tradition is to make homemade crepes for breakfast on Christmas morning. I like to fill them with butter and powdered sugar, but my wife likes jam inside hers.

December 13th, 2010 at 10:48 pmI absolutely LOVE all Ghiradelli Flavors Including of course peppermint bark, BUT since your twisting my arm to pick one…it would have to be Dark chocolate Raspberry! And since I LOOOVE Ghiradelli it would of course make sense that my Favorite Winter holiday tradition is to make Individual Chocolate Lava cakes made with but what of course Ghiradelli Chocolate! Thank you for reading and HAPPY HOLIDAYS! :)
The peppermint bark can make time stand still!!!
December 14th, 2010 at 9:58 amAfter spending Christmas Eve with my sister and her family, coming home, lighting the tree, a cup of tea, a peiece (or two!) of chocolate, we like to sit and wait for the sound of reindeer.
Great giveaway!
The Peppermint Bark and Peanut Butter flavor chocolate is my favorite! They have great quality chocolate! My fiance and I are on a tight budget, saving for our upcoming wedding and first home. We’re planning to bake and send some treats to our family and friends as their gifts this year. If I won this, we could include some of these goodies in their gifts! Thank you for the opportunity!
December 14th, 2010 at 10:16 amI know I missed the contest (sigh) but I just had to say that peppermint bark must have originated in the heavens somewhere.
It’s just so amazing and delicious…and now that I’ve seen this picture atop this blog post, I’ve found myself fighting that irresistible urge to just go out to the store and buy five pounds of it tonight….must…resist…..agh
