I've been lurking on your blog for a while now and thought that you might enjoy a book I just finished reading; it's called "Junk" by Christopher Largen and it's about America's War on Junk. (Not an actual war, yet.) The author took a bunch of headlines from America's War on Drugs and used them in his story about a future America where the government outlaws junk food to curb obesity, etc. It's actually a pretty funny book, although a bit scary too. I don't think I'd want to live somewhere where eating salt could get you sent to prison and where "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is considered illegal propaganda.
