From Wikipedia: “When White Rabbit candy was returned to export in 2009, it also underwent a name change to Golden Rabbit Creamy Candy. Aside of avoiding the marketing stigma associated with the tarnished White Rabbit name, the Golden Rabbit candy is made using milk from Australia instead of China. Original White Rabbit is also being manufactured, with milk coming from New Zealand.”

This is my favourite candy since young,White Rabbit Candy is now safe to be consumed ,it is tested by the authorities and therefore on the selves of supermarket islandwide in Singapopre.It is Creamy when you chew it and has various flavours.So get yours now for any festive or celebrations!

I’m glad i never consumed this sweet as I am currently doing an news report for an english assignment.4 dead and over 50 000 infants in hospital as a result of being fed white rabbit creamy milk products with kidney stones and failure.

That cuddly white rabbit is the new anti christ of candy mountain.

too bad. white rabbit candy was my favorite too. however, because of the melamine and formalin issues i stoppped eating them. i wish they’ll get their name back and start out clean.

I won’t be buying these.

USA Today reports this morning that White Rabbit Creamy Candies, a Chinese candy product frequently sold in the US, contains dangerous levels of melamine, a poisonous industrial chemical that can artificially inflate the protein levels of products to which it is added.

The findings come from the New Zealand Food Safety Authority. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reportedly is sampling and testing these candies and other Chinese products containing Chinese dairy ingredients. China’s dairy industry has been devastated by revelations that the country’s tainted milk supply has sickened more than 50,000 infants and killed at least three children.

Hello. Read about your comments on this candy. Be careful though. The White Rabbit Candy has been reported by the Singapore’s government to be affected by the melamine contamination. They have banned this product and so has Malaysia. The melamine contamination was initially thought to be limited to baby milk powder but it’s contemination is now much more widespread. Over 53000 babies have been affected in China and 4 babies have died since. White Rabbit Candy was also reported to be contaminated with traces of formaldehyde in 2007 by the Phillipines government although the Chinese government has denied such contamination.
