The originals meltaways had truly swept me away, but these were a artificial, yogurty imitation of the fruit. I had expected the candy to be of higher quality, but this really did not meet the standards I was hoping for. If I hadn't had such high hopes, I probably would have liked these just fine. The chocolate is very good, and the raspberry flavor is fine, though lacking actual "raspberry-ness." So these were good overall... just don't expect it to be great. A bag of M&M's is cheaper and satisfies just as much! Ok, I managed to get my hands on a bag of Raspberry Meltaways. For about the same price, I'd have to say that the Dove Dark has them beat. Still, the Bliss milk choco is quite an improvement in texture over their regular bars. It's not bad for the price. I'd still opt for Swiss or German brands, though!
