I mean people come over and dip their hand into your candy dish. You don't know where their hands have been. I love how my boyfriend's mom has candy dishes, but they are of kisses and wrapped candy. I think this is a great thing to follow. If your going to do a candy dish do it right. Wrapped candy! Or if you know no one else will be dipping their hands in but family, you can have unwrapped, but have a lid for these dishes.
