A few quick reviews to make you hungry:
Twix PB: It’s not too sweet, which is nice. The Twix PB had some good flavor, but overall, it just didn’t do it for me. It’s just not truly a Twix for me unless it has caramel in it. The chocolate cookie was a nice touch though. Overall, it’s not bad, but not great.
Snickers Dark: Snickers Dark is back on the market for good after being a Limited Edition. If ever there has been a case for milk chocolate over dark, this is it. Regular, milk chocolate Snickers is sooooo much better. This barely tasted like a Snickers! Skip the Dark.
3 Musketeers Mint: Rachel tried this a while back and wasn’t thrilled with it. I thought it was great. It had plenty of minty goodness for me and tasted like a York Peppermint Patty in bar form. Good stuff.
Hi-Chew Green Apple: Hi-Chew is a Japanese favorite and this is the first flavor I have tried. WOW! Loved it! Oddly rubbery at first but turns chewy and super-delicious. If you like sour apple flavor you must try it. Now I want to try all the Hi-Chew flavors!
Tung Toos: We first mentioned these over a year ago and I finally got to try them now. They don’t have a ton of flavor since they are more for fun than for “eating”, but they are definitely fun. They’re the kind of thing my six-year old daughter loves. It’s just not really an adult thing.

November 2nd, 2007 at 8:31 amI freaking LOVE Twix PB. I can’t ever seem to find them anywhere around me, but when I do I totally stock up.
November 2nd, 2007 at 3:29 pmhi-chews are awesome. sooo much better than starburst! the lemon and cola are my faves. the orange is a little creamy for me (when it should be more biting) and the pink grapefruit really taste like pink grapefruit. my favorite candy!
November 2nd, 2007 at 8:31 pmTwix PB sponsored an event at my college and were giving them away to all the students. I personally didn’t like them, but who passes up on free candy
November 4th, 2007 at 11:14 pmAhhh, Hi-Chew! (Gesundheit…thank you). LOVELOVELOVE them…and yeah, I do agree that they’re much better than Starburst, which I do like a lot. Hi-Chews are fabulous and I always buy some when I see them. I don’t care which flavor since it’s just an overall textural experience as well as taste, but I do have a thing for the pink grapefruit, especially since I can’t eat grapefru. It’s 10:20 at night and there’s NO place to buy them now…dangit. Tomorrow, it’s a Hi-Chew fest at my house!
November 7th, 2007 at 1:23 amPeanut Butter Twix was around when I was a kid. I remember getting packs of it for christmas in the early 80′s. Then it vanished. I swear it was around BEFORE caramel twix. Companies do this all the time. They drop a brand then years later bring it back as if it’s all new. You see it with cereals all the time too. Look at the marshmallows in Lucky Charms. Once the Blue Moons vanished for a few years and suddenly came back as new.
March 14th, 2008 at 11:07 pmTwix PB is excellent. Great combination of chocolate cookie and peanut butter!
August 11th, 2008 at 2:43 pmMango Hi-Chew just may be my favorite candy. When I went to Chinatown a couple weeks ago, I stocked up and stashed them in random places for me to find later. Think eight packages will satisfy me?
