Nicole, unfortunately ANY candy is going to be filled with a lot of sugar, and the ones at Disney are no exception. The only thing I can think to recommend is perhaps get a candy, like the fruit chews, that comes in pieces so you can dish out a little bit at a time to your son as a treat. Have a fun time on your vacation!

Okay sorry about that my son was bumping me while i was typing and i didn't re-check my spelling. I will re-phrase that. Iam going to Disney world with my 5 yrar old hyper son. We always get 1 peice of candy for him. Are there any good tasting candiesthat aren't chock loaded with sugar?

Too bad you opted for the fruit chews. No one has really ever been able to make them quite as good as Starburst. You should have went for the mini SweeTart-type candies that are shaped like Mickey and the rest of the gang. Those are amazing! I like regular SweeTarts, but the Disney World version are actually even better. Disney also makes mints in the same shape. The cinnamon ones are great, but stay away from the peppermint. Those are too artificial tasting.

My favorites are Goofy's Sour Cherry Balls. Very yummy! I also can't resist getting a super mega lollipop, even though I am in my 30s!

We went in June, and my 3-year old daughter had to have some of the candy from the Goofy's candy company store. I'm surprised your review didn't cover more of the candies there, since there is a lot to choose from. We have been using the "Cinderella candies" (a $5, Cinderella-shaped plastic toy filled with tiny cylindrical candies that taste like mild SweeTarts) as a reward for potty training. I know, we shouldn't reward that behavior with food or candy, but it is an incentive. She always asks for them!
