Love rolos as the perfect fix for a sweet craving after dinner. Just one (or two) and pretty well set.

Would love to see a dark chocolate rolo. Dark Chocolate and Caramel + heaven!

Hello - I am actually a manager at Nestle in charge of making Rolos - we just changed the recipe about a year ago to put better ingredients back into the caramel - proper butter (which comes in giant butter pats) and we now use much better quality chocolate. I am glad you all enjoy them anyway! We've been working very hard to improve the quality. :-)

Wow! Your family has excellent taste in candy bars! When I was a kid, my favorite candy bar was the Whatchamacallit. As I got older, I branched out to dark chocolate and discovered the Milky Way Midnight. I never really like regular Milky Way bars, but the Milky Way Midnight's vanilla nougat made all the difference. It was pretty much my favorite candy bar for quite a while. (Although 100 Grands and 3 Muskateers were often thrown into the mix.) Then, one day I saw a pack of Rolos sitting on te shelf of a local store. I had eaten them before, but I hadn't seen them in years. I never really thought they had been discontinued, but none of the stores I usually shopped in sold them so I guess it was sort of an "out of sight, out of mind" kind of thing. I was feeling nostalgic so I picked up a pack. Suddenly, it all came back to me. Rolos are now my favorite candy. I can't believe I never knew what I was missing. Anyway, great review.

Rolos are still one of my favorites and what I frequently reach for when I want some "comfort food" candy. I love the thick, chewy caramel mixed with just the right amount of chocolate. Not as sticky as a Milk Dud, thankfully (my fillings are safer with Rolos), but soft, chewy, buttery rich caramel and chocolate. Mmmmm!

I like to either hurry up and chew them right away or when I'm a bit less in need of the quick fix they provide, let them melt and soften in my mouth, creating a luscious, soft, velvety experience...oh god, I need to go out and get some now! And I'm right in the middle of packing since I'm moving this weekend...dang...guess which activity is gonna win out?

The only problem with Rolos is that there are a mere 8 pieces in a roll. That's just getting started!

FYI, The plural of 'Rolo' is 'Rolos'.

However I'm fairly sure the plural of what you have there is "Ick! Ew! Hersheys!"
