ok….yesterday I tried my first Heath bar, so now I can make a real comparison….Skor is WAAAAYYYYY better than Heath! The Heath bar smells like vomit….ew.

I just tried my first Skor bar today….it was AMAZING! It does have a buttery toffee flavor without being overpowering, and there is just the right amount of chocolate. This review is what initially made me decide to try one, and I am now inspired to sample all sorts of different/unusual candies.

Ohh, the Skor bar! One of my favorites over the years and the one to come back “home” to after indulging in other toffee/chocolate combinations.

Though he rarely ate candy, my Dad loved Heath bars. On the rare occasion that he’d get one, I got to have one, too. When I discovered Skor, I instantly recognized the difference and I did the unthinkable: I switched allegiances! Dad raised an eyebrow the first time I slid a Skor bar across the counter with his Heath, but I stayed the course and went with Sweden.

I have a thing for that thinner, crispier and more-toffee taste of a Skor. I have a thing about thin-textured stuff (I love angel hair pasta, for example). Just wish the dang stuff didn’t get stuck in my teeth!

Oh how I LOVE the Skor bar. I think – having purchased both a heath and a skor bar one day for comparitive research of course – I noticed one has milk? Or something different in the ingred. It’s been so long I’ll have to repeat the research ;P

I agree – Hershey is wise and so good – to just put a thin glaze atop the decedant, rich and oh so yummy toffee…

I love Skor! And like you I like both Skor and Heath, but I can definitely tell the difference. One has a wee bit more chocolate than the other, and the texture and stickiness is different as well.

Are these like Dime or Daim bars, which I believe are Swedish as they sell them in Ikea over here in the UK.
