It's one of those foods I seek out whenever I get especially lonesome for my mom (you know, after a breakup, getting laid off, coming in second or just when you miss your mama). Jordan Almonds, meatloaf, Cream of Wheat and fresh raspberries with sour cream and brown sugar. She is one of the reasons I'm such a foodie and candy addict, too. I grew up eating things from all over the world and being taught to try everything at least once (but the second bit will always taste better, she always said)! …and my mother adores them, too! They are the colors of the wedding. White and Burgandy. Spending $7.99 a pound is kind of a chore on our budget though. Each guest is going to get about 50 beans in a little pounch that has all of the wedding info printed on it. Hopefully the print on the bags doesn't have lead paint (recall recall recall!). Ha ha.
