I feel I speak for everyone when I say bubble wrap is one of the best reasons for getting large packages in the mail. I don’t know exactly why it’s so appealing. Is it the texture? The interactivity? The satisfying “pop” noise it makes when you squeeze? The taste?

This idea has been around for a while as a textural element in chocolate showpieces. But how smart to sell it as is ( I know when I’ve used it as garnishes, it doesn’t all end up on the plate!). Have to say, I’m jealous I didn’t think of this first.
