I knew it would happen someday and I thought I was prepared for this moment. Combine temperatures in the mid-80s, a black mailbox, a job that doesn’t get me home until around 6PM, and gourmet chocolates that sat in the mailbox all day and this is what you get.
OH THE HUMANITY!
Luckily, they have agreed to send me more (hopefully with bigger ice packs this time). I have the chocolate “mass” in the refrigerator right now and may try to salvage some of it, but it just won’t be the same.
Death By Chocolate. Literally.
June 6th, 2007 at 6:53 amI truly feel your pain. I live in Texas and there is no way I can order chocolate or LUSH bath products from May through October.
June 6th, 2007 at 10:16 amHopefully you had an emergency supply of truffles to help you through the agony.
Oh my. Makes me nervous about the rising temperatures, my late job, and my candy packages!!
June 6th, 2007 at 11:50 amOh, that just makes me want to cry.
June 6th, 2007 at 2:02 pmMy Mom Once mailed me caramel apples and it was a disaster. I had to throw them all out!
June 6th, 2007 at 7:36 pmThat is heart breaking.
June 6th, 2007 at 10:05 pmthe poor chocolates!!!
June 7th, 2007 at 6:55 amSorry to hear about your chocolate. Certainly puts a damper on ones expectations. By the way, who was the chocolate from?
June 7th, 2007 at 9:27 amLOL, that’s why I’m such a good employee – I’m home all day and can receive packages almost immediately! Yay for not having a life and working as a nanny!
