In response to Cindy Sivula- I live in Tampa and have always found the raspberry creme eggs at Walgreens. It has never failed me. I also happened to be traveling last year at Easter time and was driving north on 75 and we stopped at the Russell Stover outlet in Wildwood (about an hour north of New Tampa) and they had a huge number of flavors on clearance! It was something crazy, like 7 eggs for $1.00! Good luck!

I found your site and review when I started browing the internet for news of this delicious candy. As a child Russell Stover and Whitman's were the "special" chocolates, and I always loved the Raspberry Creme and tried to find it.

As an adult, along with my daughter we have always looked forward to the Easter season for these wonderful eggs and in the past few years have taken to buying a couple of boxes so that we could enjoy the candy throughout the year.

We have been very disappointed to find that after combing through several retailers that there are no additional Raspberry Creme eggs to be found in a good portion of Tampa, FL. I have just e-mailed the company our disappointment.

Have a eaten better Chocolate, in my later years, yes....but nothing will compare wih the combination of the whipped Raspberry and the Chocolate. As for the rest of the eggs, no thanks. Nothing else replaces this egg. I hope that what we are seeing is a huge request for the candy, but I am afraid that since they don't even offer it on their website that someone has made the decision to stop creating our favorite. In this case, they will lose customers...we accept no substitutes.

When I was younger, living in the Washington, D.C. area my mother and I got hooked on these whipped raspberry eggs....that was about 30 years ago.......and I ate them constantly during the Easter season.....However, since my mother never liked dark chocolate, I am sure these eggs were made with milk chocolate back then. My mother won't eat the ones now with the dark, but I still indulge....the raspberry is worth it......Does anyone remember the milk chocolate ones??

I LOVE these things. I look forward to them every year and just the other day bought about a dozen because they looked to be running out at the one store I've seen them at this year and panic mode set in. I usually eat the chocolate first and then enjoy the lucious raspberry filling at the end. A bit messy, but worth it.
