OK, that was funny. And I know that ,like, way over half the people in this country would have so many questions and comments for the Snickers company. I have one now. I love Snickers. But how did those two guys eat that bar so quickly? :)

But I have to say, I admire those actors. After that commercial went on television, they were put through alot of grief. Rock on Snickers!

To. Mrs. who says:

In what ways do homosexuals "flaunt" their sexuality, and
in what ways don't heteros get to flaunt their masculinity? Football games are a prime example how hegomonic masculinity-- dominant gender-- hetero men flaunt their masculinity-- high-fiving, and macho hollering, flexing muscles, tearing off shirts, pouring beer on one another, and putting on warrior body paint, and holding up those big #1 styrofoam fingers, and fighting in the stands and on and on. Besides are all those guys in the stands hetero? How do you tell the difference in a hugh crowd of men who is or is not gay? Or are you taking your stance based on Gay Pride Parades? when once a year gay guys do their thing just as heteros do their thing for an entire season (football). Even hetero pro-gay activists march in the parades. Can you tell the difference who is or who is not gay in the parades. Do all gay men act fem do all hetero men act macho? Have you ever seen a hetero man cry-- does that make him a sissy. Was Mark Bingham, America's 9/11 Hero of Flight 93 gay or hetero? check it out. Can you tell the difference between a gay macho man within a hetero group? Your idea of both sides keeping their mouths shut is what, in part, perpetuates the ignorance that persists with homophobics. People should not have to remain quiet or act different in the public eye either for being gay or for being hetero. What goes on in the bedroom has nothing to do with either being gay or hetero. Human beings have sex, human beings make love.

I was not at all offended by this commercial, I just thought it was downright stupid. I think the whole homophobia thing has gotten so out of hand in this world. We all are human beings and that's all that matters. If you think seeing a gay couple kiss, hug, hold hands is flaunting, don't you think that they would feel the same about seeing a straight couple kiss, hug, or hold hands? Gay, straight, bisexual, whatever, who cares. No one should be put down for who they are.

I'm a conservative, thought the commercial was slightly funny, a little gross (the kissing AND the chest-hair pulling), and a good commentary on how heterosexuals don't want to be homosexuals...enough so that they'll do stupid stuff. But why can't heteros flaunt their heterosexuality like homos can flaunt their homosexuality? Maybe both sides should keep their mouths shut and just 'keep it in the bedroom'.

I thought it was really funny! But I'm quite open-minded. If they were beating each other up for the Snickers, I would have been put off, but not something as silly as this. XD
I thought he was going to get mad about the other guy eating his Snickers, so I thought it kinda had a twist ending.

The conservatives in this county need to shut the hell up! Yes, I thought the commerical was stupid and slightly inapproarite. But not because I can't talk to my children or family about what "gay" is but because of the actions of the actors after the kiss. The whole "we have to do something masculine now". I thought that was really pathetic.

I thought it was funny, if only because the "do something manly" chest hair ripping was much much more ridiculous than the actual kiss.

Commercials are supposed to draw attention to the product, and this one certainly did its job! Everyone was talking about it, even if it was only to discuss how awful it was.
