Recently, Jelly Belly introduced a confection that I’ve been dying to try. Their Lollibeans Pops are lollipops (just in case the name didn’t give it away) shaped like their famous jellybeans and coming in a few of the same flavors.
Among those that I’d love to try are watermelon, grape, and root beer, all of which are some of my favorite jellybean flavors. I’m disappointed they don’t have juicy pear, my all-time favorite, but I guess it would be a difficult texture to replicate in a hard candy.
Unfortunately, they’re only available to “specialty retailers,” or in 96 count cases, which just isn’t going to happen. As much as I would love having boxes of lollipops taking up floor space in my apartment, I think I’d rather find another way to keep the mice happy.

These look good, but I have to wonder….isn’t that shape going to be difficult, if not uncomfortable, to suck on? Hmmm….

January 19th, 2007 at 3:31 amI’ve actually been seeing the displays popping up at stores around town recently, so you can pick and choose the ones you want rather than having to buy all 96. ^_^
They are not difficult, and they taste fantastic.
