Constantine over at Collateral Damage pointed me to his post about these Camo Malted Milk Balls. He says they were found at an LL Bean shop in Freeport, Maine and are made by Wilbur’s Chocolates. I checked their website but can’t seem to find them (though maybe they are on the site and I just can’t see them).
Despite my love of malted milk balls, I don’t think I would ever buy these. I would be afraid I would put them down and never find them again.

- Wilbur’s Chocolates (with notably missing Camo Malted Milk Balls)
Malted milk balls are probably my number-one favorite candy but I do not get the concept here. Hmmm.
RESPONSE: Me neither.

My guess is that these are for when your are “in the bush” and you are feeling pekish, but don’t want the enemy to see you. Too bad they are in a noisy Cellophane wrapper!

“THERE HE IS, get him!”
I ordered Wilbur’s after seeing so many positive comments on the web. The chocolate is great. The malted milk centers have a harsh after taste.
