eBay can be so fun. The latest candy oddity to pop up on the auction site is a Lemonhead likeness of The Tonight Show’s Jay Leno. The seller lightheartedly recounts finding the Lenohead among her son’s Lemonheads, and offers to send the original candy bag as well as a new bag of Lemonheads to the winning bidder. Bidding starts at 99 cents and the auction is set to end on October 22, but as of press time, it hasn’t had even a single bid. I’m not entirely convinced of the similarity between Leno’s face and the Lemonhead, but I do think the candy vaguely resembles the shape of Africa. Anybody else see something mysterious in the yellow mass?

Before I even read this entry, I saw the title and the photo and immediately thought, “That doesn’t look like Jay Leno! That looks like Africa!” Glad someone agrees with me.
October 21st, 2006 at 5:55 pm$0.99 is reasonable…. but $4.00 shipping is a little steeeeeep for ONE Lemon Head. PLUS $2.00 for (optional) insurance (incase it becomes powder in the mail. I wonder if they will bubble wrap it?? Hey maybe Jay will contact the winner and have them come on the show and eat it in front of a live audience! That would worth $6.99! hahahhaha.
