I could barely stay on the couch when I first saw the Skittles rabbit commercial on TV, and now I can play it over and over again on YouTube. I have two rabbits—Cletus and Abner—but neither of them sing, unlike the Skittles rabbit, who makes an oddly pleasant, incessant, howl-like opera sound. I liked the clucking Cadbury bunny, but the Skittles critter is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
Add this to the list of other weird Skittles commercials and you have some seriously entertaining (but seriously odd) candy commercials.

My favorite Skittles commercial is a new one. It’s three kids sitting on a rainbow eating Skittles, then one says, “What if this rainbow isn’t real?” or something of that nature. Then the rainbow promptly opens like a trapdoor under that kid alone and he falls and falls and falls while the other two kids watch. The tag is, “Believe the Rainbow. Taste the Rainbow.” Hilarious.

When things get rough I just start up the singin’ rabbit and laugh my ass off. No one should pen in an operatic rabbit…he belongs to the world!

We sang this bunny’s tune outloud for a whole 15 minute drive to our home cause it really sticks to you. My son Jean sounds just like him. I’d really luv to have this as a ring tone, it’s a blast!
