a long time ago, my aunt lived in Germany since her husband is in the Army, and she mailed us 50 dollars worth of German candies (about 2/3rds of it consisted of Haribo brands) and we loved them, then a while later i noticed Walgreens has 4 of their brands, with Haribo Brixx being my favorite. I'm eating some right now :p.

Brixx are easily my favourite Haribo candy as well (but also a big fan of the Peaches and the Grapefruit triangles).

Brixx are finally available here in the Austin TX area... I can confirm that the Walgreen's up in Round Rock on the corner of 79 (Palm Valley Rd) and Georgetown St. has them, for $1.39 for the 5 oz bag.

Fully agreed with reviewer --- the pear flavour is definitely the big draw, although I'm a huge fan of the green apple flavour as well (apple, cherry, and blueberry are always great chewy candy flavours -- and now apparently pear is too!)

Mmmmm... BRIXX!!

Brixx are my favorite Haribo candy! I think the creamy white middles perfectly balance the sour sugar, then with the fruity goodness, it's all good! They are a little bit of a pain to find even in Germany. So far I only know for sure I can find them at Mueller and Yorma's. Haribo is like that though...you never know which ones you will find at a given store. Today at Rewe I saw a mix called "Vampire" with fruity/black licorice bats that I've never seen before.

Haribo is my favorite gummy brand, and I'm looking to see which Haribo candies a store stocks. So, imagine my surprise when, on a shopping trip to the Hampshire Mall to restock my dorm room, I see that there's this new dollar store (everything $1 and under, you know). I look in, and to my delight, they's have the biggest selection of Haribo gummies I've ever seen. Happy Cola, Fizzy Cola, Brixx, Pasta, Sp'getti, Mini Rainbow Frogs, Strawberries and Cream, Double Cherries, Liquorice Wheels, Alphabet, Battle-Snakes, Build a Burger..........Mmmm I'm in candy heaven.... ddmmMmmmmm

In case you're wondering, I have seen candy lego-type bricks, made out of Sweetart-like material. My local coffee shop carries them with a Dean & Deluca label.

RESPONSE: Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what he was referring to in the beginning :)

I tried these at the All Candy Expo ... it was the only candy I actually spit out while still in the booth. Glancing in the garbage can there, I wasn't the only one.

I've gotta say that they really are cute.
