Sugar Eggs at the San Francisco Sweet Tooth

Sugar Egg

Do you remember the panorama eggs at Easter when you were a kid? They were usually made of sugar with a peep window to view a little scene inside. I hadn’t thought of those in YEARS until Marilyn from San Francisco Sweet Tooth sent me an email the other day.

She makes some incredible stuff. I would go so far as to call it art. Her website has pictures of a bunch of the sugar eggs and other chocolate/cake/candy items she makes by hand.

Since these goodies are completely personalized and not just mass produced, prices vary; 6 dollars and up depending on how elaborate the decorations are.

Drop by her site and take a look. You can’t help but be impressed. They truly do look too good to eat.
