I made the litter box cake last year for my husband’s Christmas party…and believe it or not, I have been requested to make another one for this year! It was a hit.

Yucky and Funny, but I’m not tempted to make it. Our kitty might mistake the cake for the real thing…I would not want to discover his mistake the hard way–blech!

Ayun Halliday published this recipe in her book "Dirty Sugar Cookies". Last month she did a virtual book tour and one of her stops was Daily Gluttony which did a fabulous rendition of the cake with lotsa pictures. Anyway, the recipe is way funny ... RESPONSE: Cool - more litterbox cake! :) --Brian

I’ve made it, and it’s tasty.

Out of the dozen or so people at the party, I think three actually tried the litter box cake, though.

It’s much funnier as a gag than it is as an actual dessert. Your call…

RESPONSE: My sister loves a good gag. And it looks fun to make. :)
