I never made these when I was young (I never felt the need to make or wear a bracelet) but I’m sure some of the women reading this did. I always wondered how they were made and now I know. Cat Morley presents a great tutorial on how to make bracelets out of wrappers from candy like Starburst on her blog Cut Out + Keep.
If gum is more your thing, you can get instructions on how to make them with gum wrappers from Gary Duschl the Guiness Book Of World Record holder for the longest gum wrapper chain – currently 48,077 feet long.
