The Ant Bully movie looks like it will be a big hit when it is released to theatres on July 28. I know I can’t wait to see it with my 5-year old daughter. In the movie, the ants are after Jelly Belly jellybeans which they call “Sweet Rocks” (since they can’t read the “Jelly Belly” printed on each one). The Jelly Belly company is releasing a new pack of Jelly Belly jellybeans to coincide with the movie – they are called, what else … Sweet Rocks.
Much like the Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor jellybeans, the Sweet Rocks contain sixteen (“normal”) gourmet Jelly Belly flavors like Buttered Popcorn, Bubble Gum, Toasted Marshmallow, and Grape Jelly, but it also contains the exclusive movie-inspired flavors of Ant Hill, Alka Root, Lawn Clippings and Caterpillar flavors. Luckily, you do get a flavor guide on the back of the box so you can figure out what you are eating. I’ve heard Ant Hill = Bertie Bott’s Dirt flavor and Lawn Clippings = Bertie Bott’s Grass flavor. I have no idea what Alka Root and Caterpillar will taste like.
The movie doesn’t come out until July 28, but you can get the Sweet Rocks right now online and possibly in stores. Pick some up and sneak them into the theatre when you watch the movie with your kids! Review to come as soon as we can get our hands on some.
