In celebration of the Carolina Hurricanes winning the Stanley Cup (I live near Raleigh, NC – GO ‘CANES!), I thought I’d look into what hockey-themed candy is available. Turns out there’s not much. Here’s what I found:
- Hockey Puck Gum: sour candy gum in a reusable hockey puck
- Fudgie Puck and Rink Bar: chocolate, hockey-themed, fund-raising candy
- NHL Candy Pucks: 2.25 oz. Belgian style crispy rice milk chocolate pucks with NHL logo embossed
- Hockey Puck Gumballs: Hockey puck shaped gumballs in various colors. 2 lb. bag
- Hockey Stick and Puck in Solid Milk Chocolate : 4 ounces of chocolate shaped like a hockey puck and hockey stick
Of course, you could always make your own with Pixy Stix as the hockey stick and a Smartie (U.S.) as the hockey puck. Is there any other hockey candy? If I missed any, let me know by leaving a comment.
Update 7/12/2009: Many of these products are now available at HockeyCandy.com. Enjoy!
Amazon has a mold
RESPONSE: There are lots of candy molds but I wasn’t counting those since they aren’t actually hockey candy – more like hockey candy accessories.

oh I see. :-)
June 20th, 2006 at 10:06 amI guess people have to make their own hockey candy.
At http://www.49cent-puck.com/ they carry custom chocolate hockey pucks that are the same size as a regulation NHL hockey puck.

I’m also trying to find hockey candy, to make hockey-themed baskets. I figured I could use Ring Dings for pucks. I’m just stuck on what to use for sticks. Thanks for all the info.
