When was the last time you were in dire need of an iPod shuffle case, and all you had was some gum wrappers and a lot of free time? If that situation does arise, Flickr user Castewar has the solution for you … iPod cases made from gum packaging – Big Red, Juicy Fruit, and Wrigley’s Spearmint to be exact.
You can check out his photo set which shows the different cases he’s done. You can also check out this photoset for a 14 step how-to tutorial and some instructions for doing the same for an iPod Nano. It’s worth a look, and a pack of gum is way cheaper than any other case you’re going to find, though it won’t provide nearly as much protection but it does provide some good camouflage – nobody would look at it twice if it was seen siting on a table.
