Candy Addict Expands by Adding Two New Staff Writers

Here is some BIG news for CandyAddict.com!

I’ve been having trouble keeping up with all the candy news and reviews lately - it’s not that I have been writing less it’s that there is SOOOOO much to write about. To help with this, I have hired two new writers to contribute to Candy Addict. Noth of the new writers have a writing style I think you will enjoy and both are genuine Candy Addicts. Please say hello to David and Victoria.

I asked each of them to write an introductory paragraph or so about themselves so here they are…

Hello faithful CandyAddict readers, my name is David, and I’ll be joining the CandyAddict.com writing team as of today. While Brian has been doing an excellent job running the site, he is overwhelmed with candy to review, candy news, candy clothing, candy games, etc., etc. So he asked me to come on board to help bring more content to the site, and thus, you the reader.

Some of you (though probably not) might know me from my own personal blog WayAwesome.com where I review (among other things) movies, music, television shows, and yes, candy.

I hope to write a few articles & reviews a week, bringing even more candy content to Candy Addicts throughout the world. That’s all for now, look for my first review sometime soon.

My name is Victoria and I’ve been a candy addict since the 80s. I grew up on Bonkers. I got my MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College in 2005. Way-back-when I was a full-time newspaper journalist and had to wear itchy wool pants to work. Now I’m a personal trainer and fitness coach and get to wear sweatpants and t-shirts to my second home, the gym. I’ve been freelancing for newspapers, magazines, and Websites since undergrad at Agnes Scott College. One of my favorite food memories is discovering a greeting-card-size box of Nerds. I live in Stone Mountain, GA, and spend a lot of time lingering in grocery store aisles and gas stations, staring at candy.

So, we’ve gone from one writer (me) to three writers - we’ve tripled the writing staff! I’ll still be writing my usual 10 articles a week (2 a day each weekday) and David and Victoria will be contributing too, so expect lots more candy news, views, and reviews from CandyAddict.com!!!
