lip gloss freshen up gum 1980 my girlfriend and i would each pop apiece of freshen up bubble gum flavor then french kiss till no tommorow she applied the lip gloss to her lips not me soldier, man thats a good piece of gum if you catch my drift. Goosebumps, just a thought back in time later gators!!

Funny I seen this today. I just bought some Wrigley’s Extra Aqua that is made the same way and I was talking to a co-worker first thing this morning about a gum that was designed the same and had to look it up. I loved this stuff and I am glad that its being re-made.

was freshen – a square piece of gum? i see your packaged image. thought the gum was sold individually wrapped. to other people – i mention this “gushing” gum and they are unfamiliar with the product.
is this the right product.

Does anyone remember Purple Lava Gum? I loved this stuff when I was in grammer school in the 80′s. It was similar to nerds, but when you eat it, it changes to gum. It was in a lavender package with a volcano in the front. the gum was grape flavor.

Ah… Squirty gum. I love the 80s! Dr. Pepper was easily my favorite.

I’ve tried Trident Splash, but has a few things going against it: the flavor (strawberry-kiwi?), not enough liquid (assuming it was actuall a good flavor), and I think the candy shell gets in the way of a good time.

Gimme those square chunks filled with syrup anyday!

Hey, I thought I was the only one that sucked the liquid center out than chewing the gum. What a small world! I’m so happy I found where to buy this. I told my kids about this gum and want them to try it. Remember another “old school” candy called Zotz they had center to it but it was some kind powdery frizz. You also buy that online. -Seti
