[...] We drove to Salem late on Friday afternoon and checked into our hotel, a crazy ass place I found on the internets called The Black Bear Inn. Their claim to fame was “the largest hotel pool in Oregon”, how could I say no to that?! So we checked in, put on our swimming suits, and headed to this infamous pool. When we got there the hot tub was covered up and there was not a single person anywhere in sight. This was momentarily alarming, but then we realized it was actually AWESOME that we got the whole thing to ourselves. Justin pulled off the cover, and I hit the vending machines. It was glorious! We sat in the hot tub drinking Dr. Pepper and eating Red Vines, as close as the vending machine would let us get to the Crazy Delicious combo. [...]

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

(oh and yeah, twizzlers are gross.)

RESPONSE: My wife LOVES Twizzlers (because she hates cherry flavored stuff), so I have had Twizzlers many times. I’ll have to hunt down some Red Vines :) There is too much candy in the world to have ever had them all…but I’m trying!

Red Vines are the best red licorice. They’re nice and soft and have a distinct cherry flavor. Not at all like those hard, plasticy strawberry Twizzlers. *yuck*
